William Butler Yeats and Seamus Heaney are arguably the most influential Irish poets of their respective generations. Yeats died in 1939, the same year Heaney was born, yet despite their different generations, there are remarkable similarities in their poetry.  Come explore these poets, and learn a bit about their lives, works, and creative genius.
